Mount Cook
New Zealand
This is a fairly commonly shot location of which I am sure many others have similar compositions. I know in my mind, I had Kah Kit Yoong's version in my mind. But mostly these days, I just shoot and whatever influences me consciously or subconsciously results in the end product. Mostly, I'm happy with what I'm doing and try not to let negativity get in the way.
I find I often write about what I try to avoid. Here's something I came up with tonight:
What I’ve never seen, I assume
What I cannot achieve, consumes
This is my photographer’s creed
My armchair passion and deed
When my flimsy truth is caught out
I decline to accede , I lash out
This is my photographer’s etiquette
A leash on thoughts unkept
When I don’t succeed I accuse
What I never experienced is yours to lose
This is my photographer’s envy
That the world owes it all to me
