The landscape near Mt. St. Helens is heavily scarred by the lava/mud flows from 34 years ago but signs of rebirth are all around.The tenacity of nature will always impress me. I was a bit worried by the cloudy conditions but the sun was able to peak through the clouds just enough to light up the peak with some very filtered and faded sunlight. Shot near the Johnson Ridge Observatory. Enjoy!
