More shooting into the clear night from the Eastern shore of Lake Tahoe. This is the result from a quick weekend trip this summer that consisted of 2300 miles in a teeny tiny rental Yaris that didn't even have power windows. But I managed this shot and I even caught my first meteor (small streak on the right). And the sunset-like effect is from low clouds over either Truckee or Sacramento, California. I think it actually adds a nice splash of color even though I normally try and avoid light pollution. This is one of my favorite Milky Way images that I've managed. Please enjoy!
