The Guiding Light
Dagur Jonsson - Reykjavik, Iceland

Few weeks ago I walked to this small yellow lighthouse that guides boats and ships into the old harbor in downtown Reykjavik. From this spot you have a very nice view towards the capital city and its main downtown buildings. The old harbor was built between the years 1913 and 1917. Apart from it being a beautiful place to walk with stunning views across the bay to Mount Esja, the Old Harbor area is where the majority of marine activities in Reykjavik, such as whale watching and puffin tours are concentrated. Note. If you look closly you can see a small rainbow in the clouds. :-) If you like my work you can follow me on Facebook here. You can also follow me on Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter.
