There's a world of difference between truth and facts. Facts can obscure the truth. (Maya Angelou) Ok what happens when you hike and hike and the weather is changing faster than the landscape around? You start to play with focal length and lenses. Finally you come home and you are truely disappointed because no picture has something promising. What to do. First, try to to change the colors - doesn`t work. So switch into monochrome art but it doesn`t work. Than you try something different by blending two pictures. Go to Photoshop and play with luminance masks and increase contrasts, lights and shadows. Return to lightroom. Think about what`s missing. Add a film noire- filter. Be angry because of halos. Return to Photoshop. Remove the halos and think about the Gauschian Blur filter. It works. Return to Lightroom. Do somthing with the water, do something with the blackened areas. Bring some more depths into the clouds and finally save all the stuff.
