The Namib desert has so many different faces. In the last few years we have travelled through this canyon a couple of times as it is close to an important road. But this time the light situation was special. On this cloudy day the sun was breaking through from time to time. When we arrived at this scenic point of the road i jumped out of the car when i saw that the sun was breaking through above us. The light color of the sand is a great contrast to the dark rocks and around the river bed. The sunlight spot was awesome to see. -view it on black -
