Just a sweet memory and just 4 weeks left until I am back there to experience autumn lights. Ok, Ole Henrik Skjelstad made this little spot very famous and I remember very well my first time there together in July 2014. Not far away from Hønefoss, it seems to be an opposite of the loud city. Calm, peaceful, nearly no other people around. Billions of midges are typical for July, it was a hard fight I always could loose. But worth to stay, I never expected such strong sunsets there. Every evening the same scene in different conditions - pure sky, cloudy, rainy, maximum heat. This spot is easy to capture and I decided to choose an easy view from the boat over the cabin to the right side. I think there is no need for some more foreground, because the scene itself spekas to the recipient. Silent water, strong glowing sunset colors and the reflections as the cherry on top. I had to do just some adjustments for the contrasts and mood, this picture doesn`t need any deeper post procesing work. Maybe the sunbeams are not perfect - but they are natural and no artificial ingredient for the picture.
