The Kazan Kremlin (tat. Cauldron kirmse, Qazan kirmäne) — the oldest part of Kazan, the complex of architectural, historical and archaeological sites that reveal the long history of the city: the archaeological remains of the first (XII—XIII centuries), second (XIV—XV CC) and third settlements (XV—XVI centuries); the white-stone Kremlin, a number of temples and buildings with great historical and cultural value, the official residence of the President of Tatarstan.
