This location in the highland of Iceland is awesome the black lava mountains with the green moss and the blue water is a real eye catcher. This shot is taken on a rainy day. Therefore the color contrast is really strong. It is not so easy to get the right frame as the lava hills are steep and slippery. So you really have to watch your step in this location. Nevertheless the view into the canyon is great and the canyon itself changes its structure every few meters. I took a shot of this place in sunlight (also in my gallery) and the mood and colors are really different. I prefer this „rainy frame“ as this is typical for Iceland.
