Reflection Canyon with a passing thunderstorm shortly before sunset, Lake Powell, Arizona/Utah border. This image was made whilst leading a tour in the SW this spring. We organised a helicopter and got the group in the air many times, not just over lake powell but out across the Vermillion Cliffs region as well. We decided if we were never going to win the lotto and get to see the wave we should fly and hover over the top of it instead, a fun experience for sure that threw up many interesting photographs. Its been a great deal of fun spending so much time making images from above this year across three continents, I'm hoping to do more in Greenland in a few weeks time!
