This is a black and white rendition of one of my most well-known images, as I used the color version for the cover of my eBook - How to Photograph landscapes at Night. For me, the cool blues of the original was always a strength. These days, 4 years after making the image, I feel a more contrasty BW representation more closely describes the place, and the emotional mood of the experiences I had there.
