I determined to do no less than to transform the world with Beauty. If I have succeeded in some small way, if only in one small corner of the world, amongst the men and women I love, then I shall count myself blessed, and blessed, and blessed, and the work goes on… Not many photographers I can shoot with and feel completely relaxed, my best friend Timothy Donnelly is one of them and after the last few days shooting with Sarah Hatton, not only is Sarah a very talented photographer but she just gets on with it and has the ability to know when the light is right. Technical details about this image, 2 frame vertical panoramic shot with a Schneider tilt shift (the only way to fly) and a second frame for the stars a little later in the evening. The cloud above Mt Cook was there the whole time even when shooting the stars.
