I have a thing for these nightly adventures on my own. Which is odd, since im so crazy scared of the dark. Its amazing im still alive.. This particular gorge is one of the darkest spots i know when there is no moonlight. You cant see shit when the headlamp is off and you have huge rocks and a roaring river right next to you. Actually a roaring river is good for me. That way i cant hear all the creatures around me. If someone decides to kill me out there, at least i wont hear him coming. On this occasion i decided to push it further and position my camera just inches above the river right where it makes a drop. I still wonder how i pulled that off. Must be some kind of magic. As for the atmosphere and all the stuff going on in the sky, its just the ever insanely fascinating and life altering aurora borealis.
