Cape Spear & Ocean Sunrise

With a stream of lower clouds, I had to wait a little longer for the sun to get a bit higher - but it was totally worth waking up at 3:30am and driving here for this spectacular view! This newer lighthouse (built in the 1950s) replacing the older one from 1836 - which still stands nearby and is one of the oldest surviving lighthouses in Newfoundland.
