Summer is not my favorite season of the year - this is the diplomatic way to say - and if the days are getting unpleasantly hot it becomes due to the small size of Switzerland very convenient to drive two hours at the most towards the mountains and your are in the heart of the alps. Up there I suddenly like the summer again :-) Between May and July the wild alp roses are in full blossom. Normally they are under protection so you should not collect them. And as they are toxic even the cows mind them :-)
