Yuanyang,a popular destination with photographers due to the vast areas of nearby mountains which have been cultivated into terraced rice paddies for at least 1300 years by Hani people. The terraced areas of interest to visitor are mainly found between 1000 and 2000 metre above sea level.After harvest,the terraces are filled with water which caught reflected pastel color sunset of the sky.Walking along the slippery edge of terraces is not easy.
