Mount Feathertop , Victoria
Our recent trip was spent largely in Victoria with 4 nights based in the village of Dinner Plain. From here, we made a few forays to viewpoints of Mount Feathertop, the only true peak in the area with most of the surrounding ranges almost plateau like. On a subzero evening, the most striking feature of the landscape was the frosted dead trees which from a far, gave the appearance of an almost fur like feel to the scene. I’ve tried to represent this feel in the image along with the passing clouds which in isolation were the fluffy/not that photogenic type. This was taken with a 6 stop ND filter.
