SEE MORE HERE You don't really plan these images. Like most landscape photography, you're kind of just being in the moment, reacting to the unfolding situation at hand. I guess that's the beauty of it all, the element of surprise and not really knowing what we're going to encounter when we wake at ridiculous hours of the morning and head out in to the dark cold.
This sea sculpture graced me with its presence for a mere 1/1000 of a second. Despite it's short life, I found myself impacted for much longer. Even the briefest encounters, shortest of words, faintest of smiles can go a long way.
