Forecast: Thunderstorms

The Forecast said that thunderstorms would be rolling through the area last Sunday, so we took a ride into Brooklyn hoping for some lightning shots over the skyline. This is the view from up on the Manhattan Bridge as the storm clouds rolled in. Used a 10-stop ND filter to get the long exposure look in the water and sky. The thunder and heavy rain came about 15 minutes after this exposure. This is one of two images from that afternoon. The other is an image of a lightning strike near a barge, and can be viewed here.
