With summer adventures in the mountains rapidly approaching now, I decided to share this image I made in 2011 which, prior to today, I haven't shared anywhere. I chose a focus-stacked, 70mm layered composition here over a more traditional wide angle to show off the massive peaks above and glaciers pouring down into the valley behind me. The image was taken from a small point on a map inside the limitless sea of mountain ranges that make up coastal British Columbia. An area I explored during a 16-day solo backpacking trip, arriving by bush plane.
