Not to be confused with the massive wall at Fenway Park in Boston. I thought this tree reminded me of a giant monster with it's mossy tentacles reaching out ready to attack me. It was one of the coolest trees I had come across as I had been searching for these mossy covered branches throughout the rainforest. There is just something about them that I find so appealing to photograph, which is no suprise as so many photographers in the PNW have similar types of images in their galleries. I didn't get a chance to really explore the rainforests of the Olympic Peninsula, but I made sure I would at least get one or two images I liked during my visit. It is definitely a place which I hope to explore more in depth, getting off trail and finding solitude in these magical forests.
