This was a photo I managed to capture while exploring some random meadows I discovered unintentionally. While I was out scouting some new locations for sunsets and seascapes I stumbled into this large meadow full of beautiful colors and millions of bugs lol . The sun had already gone down past the horizon so the light was quite amazing. The only issue was the sky was pretty boring. I decided to shoot the foreground then the night sky later on in the night. I then merged these two images and hand blended both of the scenes. Technical stuff...Well im still learning quite a bit. Weekends have been my only time to get out with my camera for the past year since I got my 6D. I feel as if I am just scratching the surface of landscape photography and the possibilities. One thing I look forward to being new to all this is traveling and exploring!. Anyways the foreground consisted of 3 exposures for DOF and hand blended, the sky was composed of a few exposures as well.
