Taranaki New Zealand I find it interesting to see the difference between images from a trip I identify with compared to images which the public identify with. Of the images I posted from this particular evening, this long exposure was one that didn't turn out the way I had hoped because the thin band of cloud around the cloud's peak that I managed to capture in short exposure, literally vanished while I was screwing on the 9 stopper and taking the long exposure. None the less, it is one of the few images of ours that has found itself into the commercial world and is available as a postcard through Pikitia postcards. So keep an eye out for it when passing through New Zealand's North Island! In other news, Marianne and I are about the head off with the kids on a family holiday so any new images will be a bonus after that trip !
