"Red Carpet" - Allgäu Alps - Germany Climbing on mountains is an utterly rough and fulfilling experience. During my hike in the Allgäu Alps last weekend it started with grey sky and deep hanging clouds. As I reached my goal a view hours before sunset I felt like in a time travel back into winter with all the snow and foggy clouds. After a bit of patience the sun came through as planned. And on my way down I suddenly stumbled across this small stream illuminated in powerful red, that rushed into depth in front of me. The rewards you get by chasing the light are so special and unique.
