Here’s a shot taken last year with a few good friends. The sunset ended up being socked in so I left my tripod with this composition in high hopes the sky would clear. Sometime around 3 am I woke up in my trusty Subaru and noticed some stars out the window. When I rolled over to look at Mt. Saint Helens not only was she out but the milky way was in a awesome spot! I stumbled back out to my camera took 6 frames and went back to bed. Sometimes you just get little lucky :) Have a great day everyone!
