Well this is the second time this has happened to me in the past couple months. With the weather looking bleak and rain continuing with little sign of abating, we were close to calling it and heading back to town for some dinner. Though the horizon looked a little lighter, I decided to stick it out a couple more minutes. A small, very faint rainbow began to appear, and we thought we might get a little something. That little something gave way to one of the most spectacular light shows I have ever seen, and that faint rainbow became the most intense I have ever witnessed. So glad we waited.
