The most famous glacial lake of Iceland, located at the edge of Vatnajokull National Park - Jökulsárlón. It was a snowy spring morning, had to choose between the ice beach or the lagoon, I settled with the lagoon since its the only spot where I can see a huge cloud hovering over it. Then boom! An explosion of color just before the sun rises from the horizon. Happy that I was able to witness something like this but sad as I was expecting to shoot interesting glacial icicles along the shores. I was running back to the car to get to Ice Beach after this shot. LOL! Now, do see why Iceland is called "The Land of Fire and Ice"?
