Everyone who's been to this area has "that shot" of this famous tree on Lake Wanaka, so of course I had to get mine. The weather had been rainy and windy the night before and I got really lucky with the clouds and light I think. I could not have asked for better conditions, except maybe less wind. It was blowing fairly well, so there was a lot of blur in the tree leaves for the longer exposures, so I had to take a separate 800 ISO, wider aperture shot, to freeze the leaves in place and blend the shots together in Photoshop. Very happy with the outcome. Enjoy!
