Luck struck and getting up super early was rewarded by capturing the beauty of this sunrise in Gladstone, Missouri. The cloud was in fishnet configuration and was painted orange by the gentle pre-dawn sunlight. The gentleness of the light lasted only for a few minutes an before turning harsh/too bright. Gladstone is an old town in Kansas City Missouri proper, this photo was taken in a small slope/hill owned by a local church and theology school, ignored by most the indigenous people who drive/walk by daily. Kansas city has no hills/mountains or fancy lakes/cabins, but has beautiful clouds/sunrise/sunsets. I hope with just the simple sky, the tree and the slope could make this photo reach the first page tomorrow morning :)
