Please press M on your keyboard to fully appreciate this photo! Last week I uploaded a different version of this photo then I decided to withdraw very quickly. The previous edit was more subdued and you would feel peaceful staring at it for hours. However, after uploading it, I noticed it did look a little flat, so I decided to push the bright and dark a little, make sure there is no too much clipping on the dark, also moved the vibrance a little more toward the right and changed white balance more toward magenta. Because the change of color tones and intensity, there is no feel for tranquility, doesn't matter how I look at it. So it's name changed from "Tranquility" to" Burning Lighthouse". It's interesting how slight change in colors tones and white and dark can change to mood so drastically. I hope you will like this version, some may think it's a little too saturated, but I kinda like this surreal look of the Lighthouse at Canal Park, Duluth, Minnesota, after the fierce storm.
