The best thing to do in Tokyo is to start walking and get lost! Tokyo has magnetism, and it feels endless. What hits you first is the scale. There’s the neon signs, the ancient temples, the skyscraper skylines, all of it mixed together. Visitors shouldn’t worry that Tokyo will be overwhelming, or you won’t understand anything if you don’t speak Japanese. Many signs are in English and people will fall over themselves to help you. Compared to Australia it's cheap to eat and drink and probably the safest city in the world. So clean you can take a nap anywhere, and there is so, so much to love about Tokyo! You'll feel ike a kid in the biggest toyshop on earth.
