Instagramunas I think that landscape photography is most fun when it comes together with weather photography. Weather is awesome. Some people complain about weather. It is too cold. There is too much rain. And often this thought strikes me. Human, we got atmosphere. We breathe. We got oxygen. We could be on Mars or Jupiter at this very moment and it would take us just a few moments to either boil or freeze to death while chocking on no air on one, and we would evaporate into endless toxic gasses on the other. Consider how lucky we are. Anyway, what's this got to do with weather? For me this is spring, greens showing up, warm sunshine appearing and coloring everything in its magical golden light. And it shows best when the sun is soon about to sleep. Darkness creeps up to provide a frame and magical things happen everywhere for a brief moment. Some thoughts about composition: I really liked the way the trees looked like, sort of creeping into the scene, but they do disrupt the frame and kind of make things unballanced. At the same time I couldn't include more of those trees as they are just a black silhouette mass that would look messy. I tried to compensate for it by making the corner look darker on the other side in post-processing, and increasing the light strenght a lot to take away the focus from the trees, but keep them creeping in to it. Maybe I overdid it, but I like it, so there it is.
