Capturing the action like this is one way to do something different shooting landscapes. It's been a big part of what I do from the very start. This is blowing snow over a meter of clear ice on yet another different frozen lake in the Rockies this winter, just in case you were not sure what this was. It's like water on a beach, just in -10C temperatures and 60kph winds with a slightly faster shutter speed (1/5 here, to be exact). Got some nice light too. This was actually about the tenth time I'd shot this particular scenario on this particular lake before!
