Everywhere you look in Norway, the view gives you a picture of nature's wondrous beauty. Someone once said you can’t eat scenery, and that’s true, but beauty nourishes the soul. The rat race hustle most of us live through each day, is a million miles away when cruising the ice covered roads of Norway. You fill your lung’s with air that doesn’t come much purer. Crossing the Arctic Circle to the Lofoten Islands you understand why they are the most beautiful islands in the world and that’s not an exaggeration. They are so peaceful, so quiet and so unspoiled, for how long, only time will tell.
I’ll miss the stinging flush of coldness on my face, and the nightly disco in the sky and I'm already pining for my next Nordic adventure.
