Lake Rotorua New Zealand A genre exists for genre's sake An image outside , some will not take A cliche was born when once was new Copied over 'til its time was due Such is the fate of such boring tropes By the numbers they're handed their rope But given the option of a sullen 'why bother' I'll smile instead and press the shutter There are some locations that I reckon are a natural challenge to photograph. Lake Rotorua is pretty flat and doesn't really provide much of a skyline nor much in the way of shoreline interest apart from its multiple jetties.
