So to kick it off, I'd like to share my photograph captured this morning. I used a Canon 5D Mk III, Canon TS-E 24mm lens with a 100mm NiSi holder and a 15-stop IR filter. This filter allowed a 1 minute, single exposure. There was no digital image blending or HDR in this image. I'm liking the result - image came out neutral. There was no loss in sharpness either. Long exposure softened the look of the fog, turning it into a pool of whipped cream. Nice! I'll be trying various NiSi filters in many different scenarios over the coming weeks and months, including time lapse cinematography. Watch this space.
