The last light of the day falls on the Cliff Creek valley in the Sequoia-Kings Canyon Wilderness. This was the first day of a six day trekking adventure on our way to the campsite at Pinto Lake. I was very exhausted at this point, and even after eight miles of hiking with a heavy backpack and a tiring accent along the waterfall, I had to try and photograph this beautiful scene as the last light hit the foreground rocks.
