From the first time I laid eyes on this location; I felt the formation and position of the tors was arranged by other beings before our time and that they used this place to worship, communicate or create. None of this image was staged or manipulated in photoshop with any tricks. I prefer to spend my time and energy researching a location, picking the best time of year, sun position, moon phases, weather forecast and trends plus all the other decisions that go into a shoot like this to capture my scene. You could call it luck, I prefer to think of it as skill - and that maybe, just maybe as landscape photographers we have a little control over our surroundings.
