"Wild Wild West" - French Alps For my current Alps project I had more than 20 places on the to-do list. One of it was particularly important to me. This jagged rock in "Wild-West-Style" in the western French Alps. With such a tight schedule, the weather must be taken as it comes. There was no time for a repeat. In the evening there was a thunderstorm, so we have decided not to bivouac on the mountain, but start hiking at night. The alarm went off at 3am. 500 vertical-meters later Felix and I reached this utterly breathtaking abyss. I could only dream of from such a mood, but thanks to above once more a dream came true.
