The water levels were quite low in Torres Del Paine and continued to lower during the 9 days I stayed in the NP. Here you see the sand patterns made by a storm some weeks before.
Even though I wasn’t really happy with the calm weather in TDP - with the misty mornings, cloudless sunsets and lack of waveaction – I cannot be more than satisfied with the results.
This 22mm shot was taken during sunrise. After this shot I ran to the river about 10 minutes from here to make the most out of the great light. The low waters levels even allowed me to stand in the river – something which I consider impossible during most other seasons.
