Located in the town of Grundarfjörður, north coast of Iceland’s Snæfellsnes peninsula. Last day at Reykjavik and clear skies over Snæfellsnes, what do you do? DRIVE. Sub-zero temps, 14m/s winds, 2 energy drinks, drove 6hr straight, no sleep, reached Reykjavik 5am, drove to airport for an 8am flight. Definitely worth it. This was a KP4 a couple months ago. Can’t imagine what would a KP7 or 9 look like. Wish to chance one in person. Feel free to share!
