Last week I got the chance to meet some lovely new friends and adventure with them through my favourite Golden Ears park in the early morning. Alouette lake was beautiful, as per usual, and I couldn't resist setting up the camera and wading through the water to this rock for a photo. It's been a few months since I took any self-portraits so it feels good to be getting back into the swing of things! ...Not sure if wading through that water was the best idea considering I got hit with a bad cold that very day... It's been a bit of a miserable week since. (Advice of the week: Don't eat all the chocolate and ice cream to feel better when sick. It sadly doesn't work.)
