Hey Guys, This was a surprise favourite from last years trip to New Zealand, I have my partner Erica to thank for dragging me here but once I was in the gate I was off and racing, I couldn't put the camera down. It was a fantastic idea to open up the set of the LOTR and HOBBIT movies to the public, you really get to the feel the passion and love that went into each small element of the movie to build this incredibly authentic town. This was shot on the Sigma DP1 and it was my first overseas trip using it, I was incredibly impressed with this little bad boy, it's one of those cameras that constantly has you zooming in and just going WOW to the detail it can produce. It became really handy for those moments where I wanted to shoot wide and just be light on gear :) worth a look if you haven't used one yet.
