Winter sunset on a very cold and misty day. On this day the mist was around for the whole day. I took this shot close to sunset time. I choose a long exposure time to get an ice effect on the water and minimize the movement structures in it – 20 seconds exposure time. I know this place well but it is really difficult to get it covered by mist and without mist it is not the same. This late afternoon was perfect and the frozen mist added a special mood to the scene. I took a panorama shot as well i will publish this later here on 500px as well.
