(This is a re-edit of an earlier pic to include more foreground that originally didn't stitch properly). Clear skies + high altitude + no sleep + lots of planning = a 180-degree panoramic shot to show the entire arc of the Milky Way, aka home sweet home, framed over Crater Lake, Oregon. This is my largest photograph to date totaling 24 shots (~75 MP resolution) stitched together that seemingly took forever to shoot in near pitch-black darkness and was my first attempt to capture the entire arch. I figured if I'm going to do it I may as well go to one of the best possible places for night photography. Enjoy!!
